myanmar

group onethe kids
they were poor but contented. i saw the smiles on their faces and i saw how much they appreciated the little things in life. i saw them "fighting" over water and i saw how much they treasured what they had. these kids were really strong.
and then i repaired roofs. bianca was brave, she repaired the roof right to the top. woon jeck was brave, he climbed up all the roofs and repaired every roof we had to climb. choon heng was brave, he ever did climb the roof and repaired them. yinghui was brave, despite his "involuntary" shaking, he repaired the roofs. group one was great. they were a brave and fun bunch. and i'm really glad i climbed the roofs too. though it was kinda shaky with only bamboos to support me, it was a great sense of accomplishment when i tied the leaves to the rattan. heehee, never would i have guessed that i would be climbing a roof and repair it! and i got a tan... hmm... let's see how long that will stay... :p
myanmar, hlaing thayar village, i really enjoyed the trip. it taught me so much. i'd learnt so much, from repairing roofs and playing card games. (: i love the kids there, i love my group. the experience was fantastic. i'll miss the 6 days there, they were all well-spent. i'll miss group one. i'll miss this trip! and most importantly, i wanna thank God for protecting me all the way! without Him, i couldn't have seen life more beautifully than this. (:
